A Prospect Boy Thinks Back

By   B. Patterson

Next month I will return to attend the 55th JHS class reunion.

I have traveled all over the world since leaving in 1954 and although we were not very rich since my father worked in Bethlehem Steel, since they would go on strike every 6 months it seemed.

I have never forgotten what a great childhood I had in Johnstown. The things I learned in Johnstown enabled me to have a successful career and will always have a place in my thoughts about what other kids miss today not having the ability to walk down the :bridge" and go any place we wanted to go, anytime without worrying about anything but having fun.
